The Woodland Garden (Friday 22nd August 2025)

I have been using Archie this week, beginning last Sunday with a trailer-load of stuff taken to the recycling centre and a shopping trip to Devizes during the week.

On Friday I filled her up with petrol in Melksham and visited C. in Trowbridge. Loki was absent and I got no pictures, and Archie was found to have a very soft tyre which needed immediate attention, no doubt caused by a long period of inactivity.

For Flower Friday I took this garden image of one of my buddleias, with thanks to BikerBear.

My most recent CD acquisition was of the CDs Ode To Billie Joe and Bobbie Gentry And Glen Campbell on a single disc, and included this, her earliest recording, originally released on her debut single, with the song Ode To Billie Joe on the other side.
