I was too busy being a domestic goddess to get my camera out today.
I was given a carrier bag full of freshly-picked apples so today I’ve made a big batch of spicy apple chutney, 2 mixed spiced apple cakes, 1 apple crumble, 1 crumble crumble (basically it’s crumbly shortbread - Elder Son doesn’t eat fruit) and a bacon & egg flan for tomorrow when our sons are coming.
That used up about half the apples I was given. When Mr W got in from bowls this evening, he brought home a bag of pears…
More baking planned for the morning!
