Berwyn Range

After popping down to Betws-y-Coed this morning for gear shopping. I went for another walk into the hills this afternoon with my father.

This time was up through the forestry and on to the gate leading to the open grazing on the tops (known locally as The Mountain Gate). The hills on the ridge line were shrouded in low cloud but reappearing where it dropped lower.

It's been a few years since I've been up to the ridge, let alone walk the length of it (which I've done twice). I'd need to get back up to good walking fitness and loose a bit of weight before I could tackle that again!
