GET WELL SOON, MR. HCB!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We had a surprise this morning when we realised that Mr. HCB was still in bed at 8 o’clock - and you all know that he is usually up at Silly o’clock to go and work in the garden. 

However, he did do a lot of work in the garden yesterday, humping bricks around and cutting up wood, so we think that perhaps he has overdone it.  So today, he is having a day of staying in bed and Mrs. HCB is being kind, along with all of us, running up and down the stairs and looking after him.  He hasn’t lost his sense of humour though, because he told Mrs HCB that at least it would “get her steps up if she is running up and down stairs”!  Now that would have made dear Admirer smile!

We are trying to make sure that he drinks enough water, so that he stays hydrated, but at the moment, he is sleeping a lot.  However, as soon as we finish writing this, we will be going upstairs to see him again.

It was a good job that Mr. HCB collected all the stuff from Morrisons yesterday, as he would not have been able to do it today, but we came to the rescue and we have sorted it all out in the boot of their car.  We are really grateful to all the local supermarkets for the "waste" food they give us, both for the Community Fridge and for the Bags of Hope.   If Mr. HCB isn’t well enough to go to Church tomorrow, then we are sure there will be plenty of people to help unload all the stuff and we know that Marvellous Meg will be there! There is also a Bag of Hope to deliver, but again, we are sure that someone will help us because this is being delivered to an upstairs flat and it’s very heavy!  

So, we are doing what we always remind you - and BEING KIND - so we hope that you are doing the same to everyone you meet.  We are all looking forward to the Gorse Hill Baptist Church Fun Day on Monday - although we aren’t sure if Mrs. HCB will allow us to go - but we do so want to have a go on the bouncy castle!!
