It was a team effort today with the forester on chainsaw and four of us loading the branches onto a trailer.  The trunk of this Kanuka tree was cut into rings for Pete at No 18 to come and collect for his next years firewood.  Judy can now get quotes to replace the stucco wall with a colour steel or some other lighter material fence.  It is going to need a concrete foundation.  The timber supports for this wall have all moved and are making the wall lean inward.  It's going to be rather a big job.  Nothing lasts forever as they say.
