Tyvek

Tyvek is a man made fibre and has many uses, mainly envelopes. The envelopes can't be torn but can be cut so they are quite secure for sending through our postal system.

The white strip at the top of the image is how it looks before a crafter gets their hands on it.

The green, purple and coral coloured pieces are what you can achieve after you have applied ink or paints and rubber stamps or hand drawn an image on top.

These pieces have then had a heat gun applied and the longer the heat is applied gives the different outcomes.

I am currently using floss from yesterdays post on some tyvek to create a panel for a challenge. Will hopefully be posting the completed panel tomorrow.
