Foxglove

A very long and tedious journey down to Essex today. Pit stop at Corley Services lorry Park on the M6 for lunch in 'Matilda'. Once revived, Mr HB, intrepid driver, commenced our onward journey to our wonderful little campsite near Manningtree, where we arrived late. Our favourite spot had been saved for us and once we'd got settled we were invaded by some of Mr HB's family and had a lovely evening.

No flowers around apart from a lone Foxglove but lots of lovely plump Sloes (must ask if I can pick some), Hawthorn berries and Ivy flowers.

It has been a long day. Looking forward to our bed. Got to make it first though! We dont have one of those fixed beds you have in modern caravans - but I wouldn't swap 'Matilda'.

The little Foxglove for FlowerFriday.  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting.
