Catching up on all sorts before our Kiwi visitors arrive at the beginning of September. Our most important task today was replacing our NZ flag which after recent winds was beginning to look a little tattered.

Cleaned out my side of the garage. Garden stuff, two mowers , compost and garden chairs. Looking a lot tidier.

The other side has two model rail layouts , car stuff, ladders etc etc. JD … your turn tomorrow!!!!

When we walked at the Kelpies this morning a very large crane arrived. This was to lift an abandoned boat out of the canal. The cost of this must be eye watering. Divers and a whole team of experts to oversee the operation. ( The owner of the boat just abandoned it, apparently.)
