The cowards…

… came in the dead of night and painted over a rainbow colored crosswalk, which was part of a commemoration of one of the largest mass murders in the US history: 49 shot at a gay club in Florida. Except the cowards were actually state employees operating under the governor’s orders.

The governor, deSantis, another of dear leader’s racist and homophobic sycophants declared that such exhibits are contrary to the principles of equality — and a traffic hazard to boot… he’s also the one who asked that all school curricula be reviewed for materials alluding to LGBTQI+ topics and then eliminated and that terms referring to gay people be forbidden in schools.

The good news is that the community immediately came together and with buckets of chalks “repainted” the crosswalk. Of course it could seem futile but hey, it’s the thought that counts…

Also, there is yet another “semi pastor” in the church that our Defense Sec (Hegseth) attends who has come out saying that he believes the death penalty is warranted for people who have affairs (could we pls apply that to Dear Leader?!) and to women who have abortions and that gay people should be drowned…
