Welcome mat

This is the sight that greets us most afternoons on entering our porch. This is our neighbour’s cat, Mittens, who always comes into our porch in the afternoon soaking up some sunshine. I think she’d like to move in with us, she often makes a dash for the door when we open it. I imagine the addition of a puppy in her household is not making her home such an enjoyable place as it used to be!
