Lucca

The Piazza Dell’Antifeatro in Lucca.
We flew this morning to Florence then took the bus to the famous Tuscan town of Lucca. We’re here for a couple of nights before heading to Barga.
This piazza was once a Roman Ampitheatre but is now a lovely Piazza lined with cafes.
We spent a couple of hours wandering about and were glad of the shade as it’s very hot in the direct sun. I’ve been here once before but thankfully the town doesn’t feel as busy as when I last visited.
