Games Afternoon

A and I went down to Nero for our breakfast as he was getting a hair cut.

Dennis one of the regulars was there in the table next to me so we had a good chat with him. He is a great conversationalist. Lots of stories. He was telling my he was going up to the Fife Arms near Ballater to meet a couple of friends. He said he goes there over Christmas. He said that Helen Mirren goes often and last Christmas she was playing the piano and another A lister he couldn’t remember the name of was singing. He’s also seen Tom Cruise there.

Home and then had lunch. Cameron wasn’t arriving till 2pm bus so S picked him up before he left to go to Glasgow staying at his Dad’s as a paddleboarding event paddling round Cumbrae tomorrow.

Laura and Ben arrived and when Cameron came made bacon rolls for them. Started with Ticket to Ride, it’s a longish game but we all love it. Cameron won that. Then we played Azul, Cameron won one and me the second one.

Ben went off to a party he was going to, meeting up with some school friends.

Dave arrived from his work and we played a game of Metro. They stayed till it was time to pick Ben up at 10:30. Cameron stayed over here.
