Quiet for once

Apparently it's a bank holiday weekend for most of the country, but not here, and as such many places have had horrendous weather while we've had glorious sun.

We overlook this patch of water and usually it's a hive of activity with ducks and other birdlife. But not when I took this. Roll on November when, fingers crossed, the kingfisher will reappear :-)
