Diascia, Juliet

It is withstanding the drought, it  lives through the winter outdoors and pops up again come spring, a great window box and hanging basket plant. This was only a little plant at the beginning of summer.

Done quite a few outdoor jobs today, lawns cut or in the case of the front lawn weeds cut, not much grass to cut weeds and bare patches.
Washing done,  watered the tubs as best I can with milk bottles of water, but at least it keeps them going.

It was a bit chilly first thing when walking the dog, in fact it was drizzling but it came to nothing, then the sun came out and it was a reasonable day, 

Another weekend looming, and a bank holiday one. We have the Leeds music festival not far away at Bramham Park, so the roads leading to it will be very busy with tailbacks on the A1, also the horse racing at York so lots of traffic tail backs.
