Thalictrum delavayi

Better known as Meadow Rue - these often-towering plants are grown for their delicate leaves as well as their flower. They lack petals but have delicate and conspicuous stamens and, sometimes, persistent coloured sepals that are attractive.

I spent the day at Lea Valley Athletics Stadium tutoring the final day of the Athletics Coach course I tutored back in July. This time no festival weekend and as a bonus we had the indoor and out tracks all to ourselves.
