Ladies

This morning I worked from home until A and our visitor left for Oban. Then I went into work where, in the office I found our three ladies: И, PhD student Y and our intern. They all wanted to talk to me, so I first went to the common room to eat my lunch with И. There we discussed her issues and I learned about her conversation with Y. Hence, when she joined us I was able to give advice to her. Finally, our intern joined us, as if she'd given up on waiting for me to return to the office. Once I did get back, I checked on the experiments I was running, and continued my exciting exchanges with a guy from SAP who was using HiGHS in quite an exotic way.

On my way home I shopped for groceries - ensuring that Kermit had food for tea! - and after cooking I walked Django. The evenings are definitely getting shorter, and I was frustrated that I couldn't make more of the pretty light.
