G's big steps

Big changes for G these past two weeks – from the garage shop to the village shop, the lido, a meal at the pub, and now even into town for shoes, B&M bits, and fruit from M&S. She’s so much more relaxed and confident – we’re all thrilled. Did notice today she’s being particular with cleaning her cutlery again, but happily ate fruit without washing her hands – so a bit of balance.

Sad news, an old walnut tree had to come down. We picked what we could, though most are still green. I’ll try making nocino for Christmas. G had fun standing in the fallen branches, throwing walnuts to us so we could put them into the bag – great hand–eye practice!

P.S. We’ll need to be careful with these at home and get them processed before Jo's next visit as she allergic to tree nuts.
Her baby shower date has been set and a WhatsApp group started to aid planning. G and Bex on invites, decorations and games, me and Claire on food and drinks... Grandad on cash flow ...hahaha!
