Past its best

For some reason I liked this close-up of the dried stalks and 'fluff' of the  willowherb that we passed along the grassy side of the canal this morning.

Lisa continues to progress well and has now mastered climbing up the stairs to my flat, while going down is still too scary. 

We walked round to the sausages' garden this afternoon so that she could have a run around off the lead. It was heart-warming to see her bounce around, full of the joys :-)
