Split Pine

These woods have a lovely light that filters through the canopy.

I was having a bit of an explore on my bike today and discovered a new outdoor restaurant called The Roost in Cuerden Valley Park that may be worth a visit soon.

By slowing down a little I am finding new things on my doorstep that I hadn't realised were there. I had a break near a pond and a lovely couple told me that an otter often visits it.
