Forth and Clyde Canal.

We had decided, post church and lunch, to cycle from Bishopbriggs to Auchinstarry along the canal tow path. Of course we weren't aware that it was the Kirkintilloch Canal Festival!! We had to get off and walk as we passed through the festivities, but apart from that it was fine. One woman was heard to exclaim - they should ban bikes! On a National Cycle route? I don't think so!
