Hoverflies

This afternoon the sun came out and so did all the insects.
I was sitting on the patio surrounded by hoverflies, with some flies and butterflies (a peacock actually landed on me) and, less welcome, some wasps after the beer.
This pic gives some idea of the density of hoverflies and might benefit from viewing large.
My official time yesterday was 58mins 14secs, so I did manage to knock 3 mins off my time. I'm glad it wasn't warm and muggy like today.
