To the Rescue

Not often I get to post a photo of myself, but someone took a sneaky photo of me as I went to the rescue of a ball that had bounced off the esplanade and into the Clyde. The wee boy, as well as looking like he was gonna burst into tears, was also on the verge if drowning himself as he hung off the railing in failing attempts to rescue his ball. (No wonder folk drown).
So me being the keen open water swimmer I am, jumped in of the nearby slip, swam through jellies and rescued the ball.
Swam it back with me and gave it back to the wee boy, who was grinning from ear to ear. All he could say was 'eugh, it's a bit wet' lol too cute.
Also got a round of applause from onlooking members of the public !!
Wonder if ill ever grow up, as was less than a minute before I was back in the water for a cheeky wee swim along the esplanade, saved me walking !!
