Peacock Butterfly

My yellow daisies turned up trumps again. I was passing them and saw a black thing which I decided to investigate. It was this butterfly with its wings closed. Apparently this makes good camouflage. We have some nettles in the garden for the butterflies and this one usually lays its eggs on nettles.
I have a good shot of my window spider demolishing a Daddy long legs but FOLOH says it isn't nice for you to see something being killed. It is also a lovely sunset after a beautiful day. It is like buses, you wait for ages and three come at once.
Foloh and team have won the North Kessock Triples bowling match today and the sailors are in Tobermory. Heading for Oban tomorrow. Hope all had a good weekend.
