Beamish

A miserable day weatherwise, compared to the last few months, but we enjoyed a lovely day out with my parents at Beamish Museum. One of our favourite trips when the children were small, it’s only about 20 minutes away, and the yearly tickets meant that we could just go and ride on the trams for an hour if we wanted. Today we looked at the new 1950s town, where the houses were all very familiar, with lots of things I recognised from my grandparents houses. Jack decided that the queue for the sweet shop in the town was too long today though!
