Up, up and away!!

Another aeronautical blip today but not nearly as spectacular as yesterday's. We were at a local farm picking fresh raspberries and strawberries and as it happens the farm is right next to the airport. The first warning of take-off was not a great blast of power but a sort of whirring noise that gave me time to get ready.

As it took off I was reminded of Auden's Night Mail poem and thought maybe it is time a more talented person than me updated it using an EasyJet plane as the context.

The raspberries and strawberries were delicious.
