The Staithe

As I said in a previous blip, no trip to Norfolk is complete without a crabbing trip!

As intrepid advernturers, we set off for the Staithe to do some serious crabbing ... only to find it was low tide when we got there ... hmmmm limited crabbing options!

However, would this deter us? No! Ok, the kids lost interest after a while but between us we netted 5 crabs! More than enough for a race back to the sea at the end!

A highly amusing trip, as my friend got more and more irate with the elusive crabs feeding on already discarded ham, and one particular one who was determined to nip her!
