Rosebay willowherb

In a field near to Pocket Park and a likely source of the blue pollen according to my more knowledgeable bee friends.  It's only 300 metres from the house (as a bee flies) and in the same direction that they fly out of the garden.

Lynne, Deborah and I tried to do some honey extraction (from Lynne's hive) this evening, but after painstakingly carrying the honey filled supers to the towel covered kitchen, we discovered that the consistency of the honey wasn't correct; so we had to take them all back!  

We've set another date and fingers crossed all is well next time.
