It's All Going On Today!

That's what the postman said as he handed over a package this morning. He was gone before I could learn what he was talking about. Shortly after I saw a police car going up the road with its blues on and then Marian phoned to ask what was happening and why the road was sealed off.

The Home Bargains lorry you see up the road had ripped up the new road surface trying to get up the hill, then at the top, he couldn't get round the corner and got stuck. I gather at some part of its journey, it knocked down a wall, a telegraph pole and wrote off three parked cars ... then it got a puncture. 

I have some sympathy for the driver, he must have made a terrible mistake as he was trying to make a delivery at the Kingsteignton Home Bargains store which is 3 miles away, straight up the main road.
