Google says Forest Bug

Also known as a Red legged shield bug.
Met my friend with her remaining 2 dogs (her elderly vizsla had unfortunately been PTS) for a walk at Cardinham woods. We were early enough that it wasn't too busy and not too hot (and since we didn't have Poppy with us) we did the much longer hillier walk.
We finished with a coffee of course. This shield bug was walking on the table.
When I got home I went for a 5 km run into the moor, despite not really feeling it I actually ran quite well.
Finished cutting down the climbing hydrangea that had died. Filled my brown bin with it and the rest of the honeysuckle I cut down a fortnight ago that I didn't have room for.
Had a chat with my neighbour who is the same age as me but has a husband in his early 80s. He has recently been diagnosed with dementia and she is really struggling. He had a nasty fall a couple of days ago and is in hospital at the moment. Such a difficult time for her
