The old bridge in Pollok Park ...

... dating from 1757-8, the estate bridge spans the River White Cart near to the site of the old toun of Pollok. The bridge is A listed.
Throught the bridge can be seen the B listed sawmill and weir dating from the 19th century. Beside this is the old stables. These are A listed dating from the 17th century. 
All of this will be refurbished as a visitor attraction over the next couple of years. Work to start in October.
