White Park Wednesday
Welcome to Wednesday where the wonderful news is my membership is fixed again! Woohoo! Clearly it was only a minor snag as it took not very long at all to be rectified.
Nice work Blipsupport! You rock!
So to celebrate I am posting something different for a change.
AND IT'S NOT A FLOWER!
This attractive bunch are the rare breed of cow known as White Park Cattle.
Despite them having some decent hornage (some of the bulls have seriously long horns) they seem to be very friendly cows if they happen to be near the fence. But mostly they seem uninterested in humans.
Unless you're bringing a bucket of extra food, of course.
These live on the farm in Aldcliffe, Lancaster, that borders Fairfield Nature Reserve, and they spend some of their time grazing in the actual reserve, in the areas around the marsh ponds and bogs.
I think they're some of the best looking cows in the world.
Another cow graces the extras today, of the same fine breed.
