Gifts galore

A thoroughly enjoyable day, the main event being a very long and leisurely lunch at Paşa with Lorraıne and Dave, + his two daughters and three grandchildren, (who arrived at BL last Friday) after which they came back briefly to the villa for a guided tour of all the recent 'improvements' and as if seeing my friends wasn't enough, Dave gave me a yummy "goody bag" containing extra mature cheddar and Cadbury's chocolate..... and a packet of choccy digestives - quintessential English edibles - a donated raffle prize for the next CoDA fund raiser.

This was after a useful morning, a decent dog walk, some housework and more writing, and before a most welcome surprise early evening drop in from Nick who also brought me gifts :) - garden wall ornaments, I'll photograph them when installed - and stayed for a beer.  The rest of the evening was an at home one with Netflix and more novella writing.
