Back from our Sunday walk.
Tired, but have had a great day!
Weather very warm and sunny. ( Such a different day to yesterday!)

A walk in Lancashire today ( yes we do venture over the border sometimes!)
Started out in the hamlet of Paythorne, near Gisburn in the Ribble Valley.
Walked to Dale Head, back along the Ribble Way, about 7/8 miles.
Lovely views of Yorkshire, and beautiful countryside.

Glad when we saw the pub at the end of our walk. (The Buck Inn, Paythorne. Sunday lunch £8.95 for two courses. The roast beef and Yorkshire pudding looked very good!)
The bottom photo shows us all enjoying a well earned drink!!
The top one a view of the countryside, and the bottom right a lovely little calf which was in a barn on one of the farms we passed through.
