Matching

I wasn't inspired to do the August Break prompt yesterday of 'Fast', but the word 'matching' please my love of colour harmony.

Both my children criticise me for having too many scarves! I explained to them that when I have an old jacket, or outfit, a new scarf can pep it up incredibly and make me feel like new!

This time though, my lightly quilted, reversible jacket is relatively new and none of my scarves matched the flowery pink and green side. I got out my crochet hook and lined up suitable yarn colours from my stash. This is the one I liked the best, although it isn't the exact same shade of green, it brought in a note of freshness which I like! So for me it matches because it adds to the colour harmony.

The crochet pattern of the scarf is called 'waffle stitch'. The name of the colour is: Spearmint Green.
