A leisurely morning with middleman's girls - his eldest brought me a cup of tea in bed then we had pain au chocolat for breakfast and made fairy cakes for their mum's return this afternoon. M, his youngest, wanted snowmen on the cakes, and you don't argue with a 7-year-old about that kind of thing.
