Harvest time

It was back to Sunday School this morning. On the last but one session before the Summer the children planted some carrots and peas. Today they harvested them. They have done fairly well considering they were pretty much left to fend for themselves over one of the hottest summers we've had in recent years.

The wee fella and I washed the carrots and shelled the peas when we came in from Church and Mr R cooked them for dinner this evening...the Barmy Army veg eaters enjoyed them...Buncle passed.

Spent the afternoon out in the sunshine with the boys. Walking round the loch on the University Campus...sneaked in a wee geocache too. Then a quick play in the park. Es was at Gang Show rehearsal.

School night...so headed for an early bed now.
