Burnets

One of the mornings when I have to set a 7am alarm and get up early. This is good for me as I could happily stay in bed until 10am. The more mornings I have a set early appointment, the better use I make of my day!

On Tuesdays I go with a very small group to Morning Prayer. The warm air inside the stone building hit us as we entered on this cooler morning. My regret was that my new tablet (with no SIM card) was unable to keep open the page I opened at home, my iPad does but can't be relied upon to have enough charge in the battery.

When I got home I went across the road for coffee with a friend - first time in about 30 years! The lady used to invite my pre-school children play with her daughter while I shopped on Friday mornings, then we'd have coffee together and discuss Question Time (UK BBC political programme). How great that was! How lovely it was today. We didn't discuss Question Time, I haven't watched it for years.

Exercise class was on again this afternoon and I did well. A great day!

Oh! The burnets! We saw them on a run to the tip, they've been growing in the verges on that road all the 49 years I've lived here.
