Leaping at Firemore beach
It's been another sunny warm day, on another beach, with more sunbathing, reading, paddling, and swimming for two very happy holidaymakers in Wester Ross (extra). We had the whole of Firemore beach to ourselves for most of the time that we were there.
Here is Mr hazelh on the stone bridge that we built for him this morning to help him cross the river on the beach. I didn't need to perform any athletics to reach the other side of the water because (sensibly) I was wearing my old all-terrain sandals as paddling shoes.
Prior to our beach visit, we called into the village shop to pick up some supplies, visited the craft market at Poolewe (local beer purchased for Mr hazelh), and stopped for tea/coffee and very large (and delicious) scones at the National Trust café at Inverewe Gardens.
Exercise today: small amount of walking.
