Novelty

 Our friends invited us up to their house for a drink (water for me) but then poured some blue Gin!!  It comes from Canada apparently and certainly looks pretty in the glass!

Today has been cool again.. not sure if the rest of the country is basking in a heatwave but we have had two very cloudy and dull days recently .. don't need the heat but sitting outside would be nice without jumpers and trousers being required for comfort!!  

Bad hip day.. apparently that is very normal (physio) and I just need to work with good days and bad days.. I took a painkiller today to reduce any inflammation and am taking it easy.. I guess enjoying and making the most of less painful days must also be restricted otherwise I will get nowhere with strengthening the muscles.   I have got very excited about book binding again.. perhaps I will be doing that.. I have discovered a way of using old unframeable paintings as covers for small notebooks.. will blip them once they are stitched!
