Tea?

The trend for having a themed trail around cities shows no sign of abatement. I suppose they are promoted to encourage visitors, then hopefully they will go to areas they probably have little knowledge of. I suspect they also hope people will spend money. Times are hard for the retail trade, anything that brings footfall helps.
Leeds has an Alice in Wonderland trail this summer and this was the Mad Hatter’s tea table in the Victorian Quarter, very colourful and lots of mechanical surprises.
I was in Leeds to collect some new sunglasses having broken mine last week. I didn’t stay long and came home to do some more pruning in the garden.
