Yew Berries

There are one or two very old Yew trees in Pollok Park. The small berries are not always obvious .... a bit of poking around is sometimes necessary.

The red berry-like structure that encases the seed is the part that is edible but the dark seed itself contains dangerous toxins ...... better to look and not touch!

Cooler and cloudier today .... those conditions suit me just fine!
