Going dotty

A long day in the office. Up early as The Bo was going on a hike with 3 mates so needed to drop him at the train for 8. As it turns out they successfully navigated 3 trains and then missed the 4th so they have been stuck in Llandudno all day. It looks like from my online stalking of their location their hike has turned into a trip to McDs and the cinema. Cue rolling of my eyes. And it’s still hours before they get back and the parental taxi is called.

That meant I was in the office earlier than usual. What luck. It’s been a long day of meetings though it’s been nice to see people in between meetings for chats. My biggest moment of excitement was needing to use a hole punch. Do our kids even know what one of these is and what it’s for? I was given this one to keep in my office. I was absolutely delighted. Little things please little minds as they say.

I did take a lunch break and read my book (Murder at Mt. Fuji by Shizuku Natsuki).
