Restful

We do like this café in Barnard Castle and visit it every time we are staying. Downstairs has been restored with original ancient fireplaces and a really cosy feel. We were sat in comfy armchairs that require a block and tackle to get out of and the friendly staff serve a limited menu but do it well. Lovely coffee too.
