Two Kites

On my walk this morning, I spotted these two kites just sitting at the top of a dead tree (the green foliage is from a hedge underneath).

Looking at the plumage I think that the one on the right is an adult and the one on the left is possibly a juvenile..it still looks a bit ‘fluffy’! Not being a bird expert, I stand to be corrected :-)

Difficult to get this processed as the birds were pretty much silhouettes against the light, very grey, morning sky….I had rushed to get a shot..any shot..before they flew away, so didn’t have time to try different settings.
