Falling leaves.
What a change in the weather!
I don’t like to say it, but it has a definite autumnal feel in the air.
Only 17C cloudy, and a North easterly breeze.
Already there are lots of leaves on next door’s lawn, all from the copper beach tree.
The lawn itself has a lot of brown patches because of the lack of rain, and also cutting it too short every week. ( The so called ‘gardeners ‘ haven’t a clue)
Their holly tree. ( see extra) is also loosing its leaves, which it certainly shouldn’t do. However it has never been covered in berries before. All rather worrying.
I’m posting early this afternoon as when MrC gets back from bowling we are driving over to Horsforth to meet up with friends.
MrC and P. are off to Murgatroyds for fish and chips, while we girls ( usual 6) are going to La Bistro in Horsforth. A new place for us so fingers crossed we have a good meal. I seem to have had poor ones lately.
Good job the company will be good!
