WOODEN HEARTS READY FOR OUR CHURCH FUN DAY!

Last year at our Church Fun Day I was assigned to the Prayer Tent, but as we didn’t have many coming in there, I decided I would mingle with the crowds and give out some of my little wooden hearts.

We had over 1,200 people attending the Fun Day last year, which is something our Church has put on for the last 10 years and it is completely FREE to those attending. 

There will be inflatables i.e. bouncy castles, tents where children can paint, draw or do anything that takes their fancy, burgers cooked non-stop, cakes, games for the children, and a Fire Engine in attendance plus lots of other things - see the poster I have put in as an extra.  

Of course, there is a lot of work involved - both before, during and after the Fun Day.  I know Mr. HCB is looking forward to the bacon butties they all have after setting up the various tents and marquees and I understand there is always a great atmosphere, despite there being lots of work to get done in a short time on the day.

If you are near Swindon on Bank Holiday Monday - and I guarantee it will be great fun, pop in and see us - I will even give you a little wooden heart if you make yourself known to me!  

We are all excited about this day and of course, we are praying for fine weather, but in any event, it will be a wonderful FUN DAY for everyone who attends.  See you there?
