Just finished Hailing

Today has been icy cold. With heavy rain, sleet and hail at times. Also we had a little bit of sunshine. As I was getting out of the car the hail came down. By the time I took this photo it was raining. It didn't reach much above 6c. 

My eye was closed up this morning and a bit messy looking. When the nurse phoned this morning I told him what was happening. He said he would call back later in the day. 

My eye was becoming very red and it was closing up again. I had to take photos to send to the nurse. The specialist saw them and booked me in to see him this afternoon. He said the eye was okay and I had a bad reaction to the anesthetic. They didn't give you injections anymore for the anesthetic ...It is given by rubbing around the eyelids with wipes with anesthetic on them.
