Parasol

We've had our last camera club summer get together this evening, on the roof terrace of the King's Head Hotel in Cirencester. Being a roof terrace I was hoping for a view, but alas there wasn't one, it was all enclosed by walls and fences. So in that case I was hoping for some minimalism for Mono Monday. I'm not sure the parasol shot meets the brief, it's rather complicated when you look closely.

On the other hand, AI tells me minimalist photography emphasizes simplicity and focuses on the essential elements within a composition, aiming to convey a story with minimal visual information. It's characterized by clean lines, negative space, and a deliberate reduction of elements to highlight the subject and create a sense of calm and focus. Well it has some of those elements.

In other news the birds are back, loads of them, sparrows mainly.
