Looking down the Ennerdale Valley

Another hot day, but not quite as bad as lately. Deb & I drove beyond Ennerdale Bridge (on the way to the coast) and walked Lank Rigg, Crag Fell & Grike, adding the Birkett Blakeley Raise to the end of the walk. Not too humid, still hot, but almost completely fly-free and a light breeze made the day really a joy!

This was taken near the summit of Crag Fell, from which we did have a fabulous view down Ennerdale towards the Buttermere Fells on the left and Pillar on the right, I just preferred the shot without the lake, but with the glorious August heathers in the foreground. Take a look at them both and tell me which you like best!

Might end up swapping them over
