Feeding time at the zoo
Both boys had a bottle and managed to take it all bar a few dregs. They want to push the bottle feeds but not overload them do they are going to alternate between bottle and tube feeds. So a step in the right direction.
Due to Elliot's screaming fit this morning I'm having to bring in dummies tomorrow as me and Mr L had to alternate who's finger he was sucking on to calm him down!! Didn't want to give them a dummy so soon but if it prevents thumb sucking!
MIL is driving me round the (insert expletive) bend. Mr L rang her twice yesterday and told her the same thing several times! Said he'd ring her when we got home (no idea why nothing was going to change between leaving the hospital and getting home!) but as we went out for a little bit he didn't bother do she rang the landline!!!
She must have rung (landline) this morning after we left to go see the boys so rang Mr L's mobile we don't leave to go to the hospital till after 9:30!! So weren't there and had no update yet. Rang her when we left and also had to go and see her. It's the same update every time! They are fine just need to put on weight and establish good feeding!!!! How many ways can you say it.
And she's obsessed with coming to see them and doesn't understand we are the ones that need to spend time with them not her they are our babies not hers!!!
I think I'm finding worse because of my hormones but I really can't cope with this constant ringing thinking she's being helpful etc for the next 18 years if we need help we'll ask for it. We are grown ups (parents of two!!!!) not 5 year olds!!
Time to try and relax and de stress I think
